Hello,
I'm using the free version of the AutoTweet component on Joomla 2.5.8.
With the facebook channel everything works fine, but with the Twitter channel it shows that I can post just direct messages:
200 OK (access level: read-write-directmessages)

Does it is a limitation of the free version, a wrong setting in my twitter application or what else ?

It's Ok,

It showns the permissions: read, write, and direct messages.

Well, but it just posts direct messages...the message generate by new content in joomla just remain in job queue.
I did not set a cron job, should I work with cron jobs ?

Hi,

AutoTweetNG does not post direct messages to an account.

You can work in Automator mode (when a user visits your frontend -after 2-3 mins-, the post is pusblished) or in Cronjob mode.
