I don't understand what this channel does. I have read the documentation here:

www.extly.com/autotweetng-documentation-...-e-mail-channel.html

However, it only says:
AutoTweetNG sends your generated AutoTweet content as E-Mail to a group, mailing list or something else.

AutoTweetNG Mail Channel is not for create mailing lists, manage your subscribers, send Newsletters or something like that.

This channel is simple to setup:

Go to the tab 'Channels' in AutoTweet backend and push the 'New' button.
    Set the channel type
Enter your mail account data, mailing list data o group data and that's all

What types of data gets entered? Is it looking for an email address? Perhaps a Joomla user group? I don't understand what this channel does.

Thanks!

Hi,

The mail channel just sends a notification mail with the post information.

It's mostly oriented for testing or monitoring (not to replace an extension like AcyMailing)

Thanks,

So, in the "Sender mail (From)" field it would be the email address I wanted the email to come from?

The "Sender name" would be the name I wanted it to show as the sender?

What does the "Recipient mail (To)" field require? Is it looking for an email address?

Thanks!
