Error after Update - The channel requires a title

Hi everybody,

I am using J2.5 and I've updated Autotweet from v6.3.x to v6.6.0.
Since then I get the error message "The channel requires a title" if I am going to add (save) a new channel. It does not matter if its a twitter or facebook channel.
I have filled out every field, but there is no "title" field.

I've attached a screenshot with the "system information".

Does somebody have a solution for me?

Hi,

The channels do have a title to be filled.

Just to be sure, clear the browser cache, or check with a different browser.

Hi Support Team,

there is only the "Name" field.
I have tried it on browser cleaned Safari, Firefox and Chrome, on Mac and Windows - the same problem everywhere.

After filing everything out and pressing save button, the attached message opens and every field resets.


I can send you my joomla login and twitter data, so you can try to add the channel and have a look directly?

But.. form fields are empty in the screenshot. You need to choose a channel type and fill all mandatory fields before saving.

Hi,
like I said, this comes after i've filled the mandatory fields and pressed the save button. After fillig every field and saving it, the field are resetting and the message appears.

Where can I send you a personal message with the joomla login and twitter data?

Hi,

Configuration review is only provided for support memberships.

It seems that the form validator is not running Ok. The update to the newer version might have failed, or leaved the files in an inconsistent state. Please, try to re-apply the update, or uninstall and install it again.
