Hi. I have a technical question. Linkedin contrary to other socials don't use hashtags at all. Now if i compose a messagge with hastags that will be ok for twitter or facebook, there is a rule to eliminate all hastags from message when posting to linkedin? Thanks
Support Team replied the topic: Linkedin Post Message
Hashtags are a visual tool to identify keywords in a post. Twitter and Facebook have features to link and assocated posts with the same hashtags.
As you note, LinkedIn does not link or associate posts. Even though, hashtags are not supported, they are a useful visual tool for posts. So, AutoTweet adds hashtags for LinkedIn channels (in future, LinkedIn could introduce a new feature for hashtags).
If you look for hashtags removal, you could create a rule and craft a replacement expression (preg_replace). In rule management area, the example shows how to create a hashtag from a word.
