Feature Request for JB DropDown Menu

This is a GREAT module (super simple & effective), the only thing this module needs to make is PERFECT is the following:

Provide the following options:
* Bootstrap 2 or 3
* Disabled dropdown-toggle

I am in the process of converting my template from Bootstrap 2 to 3.

I was able to work around the disabled dropdown-toggle limitation by using NoNumber ReReplacer.

Let me know if you need any help implementing these features (user testing)

Hi Joe,

Great feature request! We have several sites running on BS3. JB DropDown Menu would be a nice addition.

Please, give us 1-2 weeks to find development time for the new feature.

Best Regards,

It would also be nice to control the menu type (Tabs vs Pills) from the module.

Menu Class Suffix parameter is nice, but not a simple as a dropdown parameter UI.

Also, the suffix method adds the class which can cause some styling complications - for this I am using NoNumber ReReplacer :
nav nav-pills menu >>> replaced with >>> nav nav-tabs menu

Hi,

We have just released XT Menu to fully embrace "Nav Tabs with dropdowns for Bootstrap 2 and 3". www.extly.com/utilities/xt-menu-nav-tabs-with-dropdowns.html

This new module renders a Bootstrap dropdown menu AND allows to navigate a N-level hierarchy.

These are the module parameters:
  • Select Menu
  • Base Item
  • Start Level
  • End Level
  • Show Sub-menu Items
  • Alternative Layout
  • Load Submenu Style
  • Load Submenu Script

NOTE: Boostrap Tabs and dropdowns must be supported by your template.
